About the project
The cultural group had lacked costumes for various traditional dances which made them miss out on some events where clients had specifications on the kind of presentations they wanted. This made them lose income.
Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated cultural costumes and props. They include sisal skirts, a traditional drum, monkey skin, jembe drum, marimba and kishutu lesos at a cost of KES 50,000.
Availability of the costumes and props is expanding their creativity to satisfy clients’ needs. Their presentations are outstanding and more varied. They are increasing their income by performing in more events.
