#EconomicEmpowerment

About the project

The Challenge

The women wanted to start a hiring service project for tents and chairs, but they lacked funds to purchase the items

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated tents and chairs at the cost of KES 150,000.

The Impact

With the tents, they are in a position to host events for members and clients. They will be able to rent out tents for occasions, especially now that the economy is reopening.

The profits will service the WEF loans giving them a chance to apply again.
