About the project
The organization was founded with the aim of offering refuge to the street children, orphaned, people infested with jiggers, and those living with HIV and AIDS in the community.
However, there was lack of a consistent supply of food at the rescue center as they depended entirely on well-wishers. The home could not access funds for paying school fees. The impact of Covid-19 pandemic has resulted to uncertainty of well-wishers to help in the payment of school fees for the learners once schools reopen.
Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated 50 school uniforms at a cost of 100,000.
The uniforms are expected to be distributed equally among 25 boys and 25 girls. This will uplift the morale of learners as schools re-open in January.
