About the project

The Challenge

The student population was growing consequently putting a strain on the available resources at the school. The girls’ dormitory could no longer accommodate the number of students resulting to congestion.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation handed over a constructed dormitory, 15 beds, 15 mattresses, 15 pairs of beddings at a cost of  KES 2.5 Million.

The Impact

The new dormitory has decongested the rooms providing a conducive environment for resting after a full day of learning and participating in extra co-curricular activities.
