Birth complications and infant mortality cases were on the rise as some mothers could not make it to hospital in time resulting to home deliveries.
Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated 10 beds, 10 blankets, 10 mattresses and beddings worth KES 500,000.
The facility is serving expectant mothers from the area as well as regional communities. They have seen to it that birth complications and infant mortality cases are reduced.
