About the project
The health facility needed medical equipment for testing and diagnosis of patients. With no laboratory equipment, doctors could not identify what patients were suffering from and provide the prescriptions they needed. They lacked enough money to buy what was needed.
Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated a full haemogram machine, a microscope, a centrifuge, a roller mixer and HB machine. They were donated at a cost of KES 500,000.
The hospital is prescribing medicine and giving medical advice based on the lab results.
