About the project
Lack of computers in the school limited computer studies and acquisition of digital skills. The lack of internet limited access to research and revision materials.
Safaricom Foundation’s Pamoja Scheme handed over an equipped computer lab that included an internet router, 35 desktops and a smart board at a cost of KES 500,000.
The school now has capacity to offer basic and advanced computer skills to the students as well as teachers. The school is saving on costs when it comes to preparing exams and sending official documents within the school and to other institutions. Moreover, students are motivated to attend school.
