About the project

The Challenge

The reform institution did not have enough training equipment for the 299 TVET students. The COVID-19 had pushed institutions to go online but had few computers to offer e-learning.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation donated farm implements, wiring tools, carpentry tools, tools for mechanical training and 8 computers at a cost of KES 1 million.

The Impact

The students have enough tools for their training. They are excelling at their various courses. They are e-learning and catching up with their training.
