About the project
The county’s health workers were at risk of infections from COVID-19. This would have resulted in further spread of the disease and possible deaths.
Safaricom Foundation donated PPEs, including 151 non-contact thermal guns and 55 water tanks of 1,000 litres each. This was at a cost of KES 1.5 million.
The health workers are well protected as they manage patients with COVID-19 infections. The spread of the disease is lowering with both patients and health workers safe.
