About the project
The infrastructure was old and dilapidated bearing in mind that the school was established in 1950. The school had tried fundraising for new classrooms but the funds did not cover all the expenses. Enrollment had increased therefore exposing more pupils to danger.
Safaricom Foundation’s Pamoja Scheme handed over a constructed classroom, 1 office desk and chair as well as 20 modern desks at a cost of KES 1 Million.
The new infrastructure has improved the facelift of the school. Additionally, more parents are seeking for admissions slots in the school as they are confident that the learning environment is safe for their children.
