About the project
The school had old, worn out classrooms which were made of timber and only three permanent classrooms. Additionally, the available furniture in the school could not accommodate every student. This resulted to pupils having disinterest in education.
Safaricom Foundation’s Pamoja scheme handed over a constructed classroom and 25 desks at a cost of KES 1 Million.
The new infrastructure has improved the facelift of the school increasing class attendance as pupils are now motivated to attend school. The additional desks have also decongested the classes allowing social distancing among pupils.
