About the project

The Challenge

Lack of enough textbooks in the center resulted to congestion of pupils around books which affected the quality of teaching in languages consequently leading to low performance. Some pupils had dropped out because they could not access books.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation through, the Ndoto Zetu Initiative, donated course books, Kamusi and dictionaries worth KES 100,000.

The Impact

The books are enough for sharing among students enabling effective teaching and revision. Availability of these books has boosted the students’ morale and school attendance which is expected to result to improved academic performance.
