About the project
The dispensary with a catchment of 4, 000 people lacked adequate medical equipment and furniture to operate effectively. Patients with blood pressure and asthmatic issues could not be monitored for their health as often as required.
Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated a blood pressure machine, nebulizer, thermal guns, chairs, a table and a fridge. The equipment were donated at a cost of KES 500, 000.
Service delivery has improved with the additional medical equipment. Patients can be monitored for blood pressure and asthma. The chairs, tables and fridge are ensuring smooth operations at the health facility.
