About the project

The Challenge

The available desks could not sustain the number of students as new admissions kept increasing causing congestion. The level of discomfort lowered their concentration and participation in class.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation through the National Fund for the Disabled of Kenya (NFDK) handed over sixty lockers and chairs, three tables and chairs worth KES 330,000 to support their learning.

The Impact

The school has been spared the burden and expense of purchasing additional desks. There is now a conducive learning environment where students can sit, read and write properly.
