About the project
The classes were old and dilapidated and the furniture was inadequate for the 1,000 pupils in the school. The learning environment was demotivating for the school and had consequently affected their performance.
Safaricom Foundation’s ALP programme handed over 2 renovated classrooms and 50 desks at a cost of KES 1.2 Million. There was new roofing, new shatters, tiled floors and painted walls among other revamps.
The infrastructure has improved the learning standards in the school. The students have also been motivated to improve their performance now that the learning environment is conducive.
