About the project

The Challenge

Lack of adequate furniture was a concern because of the congestion on the available furniture. This resulted to discomfort especially to learners who had disability and it was affecting pupils’ academic performance as a result of lack of concentration in class.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation, through the Ndoto Zetu initiative, donated lockers and chairs worth KES 100, 000.

The Impact

The pupils are comfortable and able to observe social distancing in the wake of COVID 19 pandemic. It is expected that the academic standards of the school will be uplifted.
