About the project
There was shortage of learning and recreational books that limited activation of a reading culture among pupils. Moreover, parents were unable to provide books for their children due to the high poverty levels in the community.
Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated books worth KES 100,000.
The students have been exposed to a wide variety of books for research and revision. These books have supplemented the course texts that the government provides to schools therefore improving the academic performance and general knowledge of the pupils.
