Access to maternal health services has inhibited the absence of equipment meant to provide care for pregnant women. Some women looked for alternative health centers further from the dispensary to seek health services. Provision of care to infants was also minimized by the few equipments to cater to the wide catchment of the health facility.
Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated delivery beds, medicine trolley, baby warmers and a TV set at a cost of KES 900, 000
Women are getting maternal health services and delivering safely. The health of infants is being closely monitored.
