About the project

The Challenge

The school had water problems to an extent that students had to carry water daily in jerry cans from home. This was risky especially to the lower classes where the children are young and unable to carry heavy loads.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated a water for KES 175,000.

The Impact

The tank is facilitating water harvesting during the rainy season. Few students from the upper classes are required to carry water from water as there is an alternative water source.
