About the project

The Challenge

There was inadequate infrastructure as well as lack of enough furniture and learning items for the pupils causing disinterest in education.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation, in partnership with Zizi Afrique, handed over a constructed and furnished classroom worth KES 1.5 million.

The Impact

The infrastructure has renewed interest in education among students which has translated to increase in school attendance. Additionally, it is expected to increase in the literacy levels in the community as the school now has capacity to enroll more students.
