About the project

The Challenge

Water scarcity in the area forced pupils to walk for several kilometers to fetch water. This was a disruption from their studies which affected their performances.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated a water tank at a cost of KES 175,000.

The Impact

Pupils are using water within their school compound that is clean and safe. They are focused on their studies and performing better in class.
