About the project
The Foundation supports persons with epilepsy in the community. However, it was noted that that there were no economic schemes around for epileptic persons to depend on for self-reliance. Most of them relied on their family members to make ends meet.
Safaricom Foundation supported the foundation with 10 sewing machines and fabrics at a cost of 200,000.
The Foundation has been able to make and sell over 4, 000 masks which has enabled the people to meet their daily needs and have savings for them and their families. The masks have assisted in preventing the spread of COVID-19. Additionally, the beneficiaries have been making clothes based on orders which is bringing in profit.
