About the project

The Challenge

The institution could not train persons with disability effectively without the tools for vocational studies.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation through the National Fund for the Disabled in Kenya donated tailoring, carpentry, knitting equipment and welding tools for students to use. The equipment was worth KES 1 million.

The Impact

Vocational training is going on effectively and school dropouts given a second chance to get an education and skills which will empower them.
