About the project
The football team lacked consistent cash flow to purchase soccer balls and uniforms for training. This resulted in some players being discouraged and relapsing to their old ways of crime.
Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative supported the team with football kits to worth KES 50,000. They included full training kits, jerseys, socks, shorts, and a first aid kit.
The football kits are a great motivation to the players in that they can grow their passion in soccer. They are also training intensely in order to qualify for tournaments in the region and beyond.
