About the project
The dispensary lacked equipment which limited them to offer extensive medical services to patients. The supply of surgical equipment was disrupted by COVID-19, making requisition and access to them a problem. Moreover, emergency tools were worn out and they also lacked an oxygen concentrator which is very vital for medical operations.
Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu donated surgical delivery packs, wheelchairs and an oxygen concentrator at a cost of KES 500,000.
The dispensary is now in capacity to provide quality medical services to the community, cutting down the number of referrals to other hospitals.
