About the project

The Challenge

The school lacked enough classrooms which forced pupils to learn under trees. The few latrines posed the threat of infectious diseases. The lack of a food store caused perishable food to get spoiled.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation constricted two classrooms, two pit latrines and a food store at a cost of KES  5,994,800

The Impact

The learners have a better learning environment with the classrooms. The improved sanitation has brought about a clean environment. The food store is ensuring that food is safely stored.
