About the project

The Challenge

The women lacked funds to conduct their community poverty eradication activities. The community they were residing in also had issues with water supply.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative supported the group with a 10,000L water tank and KES 30,000 cash.

The Impact

The group is harvesting water that is later sold to community members for profit. The proceeds are assisting the women to continue conducting their community-based activities.
