About the project
Kimanjo Sub County hospital lacked access to clean water, which posed a risk to the patients and workers. The facility heavily relied on water vendors, which led to financial constraints as it was very expensive.
Safaricom Foundation invested Kshs. Kshs. 3.3 million towards the drilling of a borehole to ensure 24-hour supply of clean water to the hospital.
The borehole will ensure the hospital has water throughout and reduce health risks associated with lack of water.
