#EconomicEmpowerment

About the project

The Challenge

The group did not have an office to hold meetings so they had to use their residential houses as venues. They also did not have a shop to display the items they had made from the recycled plastics.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated a fabric container at a cost of KES 422,000.

The Impact

The container will assist in setting a good meeting place that will help the members recruit more people and conduct even more meetings as they sort and sell the collected plastics.
