About the project
The school really aspired to provide ICT lessons and equip the learners with digital skills but they lacked computers and a secure place to conduct those lessons. Additionally, teachers could not access teaching materials as well as type and print exams.
Safaricom Foundation’s Pamoja scheme donated a furnished, wired and equipped computer lab installed with 15 computers and furniture at a cost of KES 700,000.
The school has the capacity to offer basic and advanced computer skills to the pupils as well as teachers. Pupils can now access information online including past papers to help them with revision. Additionally, the school is saving on costs when it comes to preparing exams and communication to other institutions through emails.
