About the project

The Challenge

The limited classrooms could not sustain the number of learners as new admissions kept increasing resulting to congestion. The level of discomfort lowered their concentration and participation in class.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation through the PAMOJA Scheme constructed a classroom and equipped it with 28 lockers and chairs at a cost of KES 1M to support their learning.

The Impact

There is now a conducive learning environment where students can sit, read and write properly. The school has been spared the burden and expense of constructing classes and equipping them with desks.
