About the project

The Challenge

To bolster their learning, the students who were persons living with hearing disability needed visual aids and demonstrative learning through illustrations. The shortage of computers made this a challenge and saw students drop out and the rate of retention low.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation, through the Ndoto Zetu initiative, donated computers worth KES 400, 000.

The Impact

The students are effectively learning. The enrolment is expected to improve as a result.
