#EconomicEmpowerment

About the project

The Challenge

The group did not have machines of their own and usually rented or used machines which belonged to the hardware they worked in. When the machines were in use elsewhere, they became inconvenienced. This jeopardized their work.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated four welding machines at a cost of KES 135, 000.

The Impact

They are using their own welding machines which is uplifting their business. They are making profit with expansion into their own business.
