About the project
The Centre lacked a haemogram machine for conducting tests and diagnosis of medical conditions prompting them to refer patients to other hospitals. This delayed their treatment as the referral hospitals were located far away.
Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative supported the health centre with a haemogram machine at a cost of KES 500,000.
The facility is now attending to more patients and giving accurate diagnosis without delay. Patients no longer need to travel to other hospitals for treatment.
