About the project

The Challenge

The school had insufficient classrooms, only four are permanent while the rest are made of mud. Students were sitting under trees and stones when learning.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated desks and chairs at a cost of KES 100,000.

The Impact

The items are providing a conducive learning environment especially for the grade one students. There is improved concentration and participation in class.
