#EconomicEmpowerment

About the project

The Challenge

The group sells clean water to the residents however delivering efficiently to the community has been a problem due to lack of transportation mode to those who live far. The clients had to make many round trips so as to collect water. Covid-19 has destabilized the economy leading to most of the group members struggling to meet basic needs.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation’s Ndoto Zetu initiative donated 5 carts at a cost of KES 50,000.

The Impact

Transportation of water has been eased hence the members will be able to reach many clients resulting to increase in income.
