About the project

The Challenge

The center was charging pupils just about KES 200 a month for them to access education, however the school fees could not afford to improve infrastructural developments. The school had inadequate furniture forcing some children to sit on mats.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation, through the Ndoto Zetu initiative supported the school with desks, and chairs worth KES 100,000.

The Impact

The provision of furniture has relieved the school the costs of purchasing new ones. Students are also able to learn in a conducive environment which will be reflected by improved performances.
