About the project

The Challenge

The lack of blood diagnosis equipment had hampered provision of health services at the health centre. Patients had to walk 8 km to the sub-county hospital to access services.

The Intervention

Safaricom Foundation, through the PAMOJA Scheme, donated a full haemogram machine and biochemistry equipment for KES 1.2 million.

The Impact

Health services at the hospital have been improved. Patients are able to get the right diagnosis to their health conditions.
