About the project
The students who had hearing impairment needed visual aids and illustration devices for them to learn effectively. However, absence of computers in the school led to students falling behind in their studies as well as a decrease in the rate of student retention in school as learning was a challenge.
Safaricom Foundation through the Ndoto Zetu initiative handed over 10 computers worth 300,000.
The computers have made it easier for teachers to conduct lessons and have also given students the motivation to learn and equip themselves with digital skills that will come in handy when they join the employment sector.
