Water

Kenya’s population estimated to be 40 million puts pressure on existing water catchment areas, changing weather patterns and loss of forest cover. Water is life –and the Foundation supports projects that conserve water sources and explore new methods of harvesting rain and underground water.

Clean water not only sustains life but prevents water-borne diseases. The Millennium Development Goal 7 calls for environmental stability that will ensure access to clean and safe water for all.
